Our province of Alberta is majestic from the Rockies to the prairies. It is hard not to fall in love with the powerful tranquility of the mountains. This pull to be in nature sparked the bus project.
Essentially a few of us bought a school bus and turned it into a motorhome which has allowed us to hike, fish, camp all over Alberta and some of B.C. The bus sleeps 6 people, has a woodstove for those cold ones, an oven, a sink and a makeshift shower !
It only makes sense to experiment on the experiment; so the first install of our recycled plastic tiles was the bus. We built up a backsplash for our new countertop, then carefully picked the tiles and to create a proper rhythm. The results have people
saying “can’t believe that’s not marble”.
